Webinar 1: Shoreline Restoration
This four-part webinar series will explore alternatives to hard armouring our Island’s coast and deal with the challenges and benefits of natural interventions. Webinar 1 – will focus on restoring vegetation on a north shore cliff site. Webinar 2 – will explore the challenges of restoring a shoreline, experiencing the impacts of high traffic and tourism. Webinar 3 – will discuss how to restore dune and back shore ecosystems. Webinar 4 – will look at the protecting riverbanks, estuaries, and options for soft armouring.
