This construction site, in the vicinity of Sporting Intentions and St. Louis Bar and Grill is one of many in the Charlottetown area over the past few years that has resulted in the mass destruction of surrounding green areas. The construction trash from this site in particular ends up in waterways that drain eventually into Owens Creek, and ultimately the ocean. It’s a far to common story in and around our capital city these days.

We appreciate one of our followers getting in touch to voice their concerns about a serious problem with all the current development happening. We need more enforcement. Full Stop.

If you agree, please take a minute to submit your concerns to our Environment Minister, Darlene Compton here: https://services.princeedwardisland.ca/en/service/connect-us-online or email her at MinisterLE@gov.pe.ca
