We at the Coalition agree with Bill

We at the Coalition agree with Bill. Land is the toughest and yet should be the most important issue. If we continue to lose our land, what will we have left? More importantly, what will be left for our children and grandchildren? Island’s toughest issue, an excerpt from this week’ editorial by Bill McGuire

One of the year’s most persistent stories was turmoil around land use. A provincial land-use plan remains far from completion. The Coalition for the Protection of PEI Lands renewed its call for a public inquiry into land ownership, corporate acquisitions and beneficial ownership transparency. Farmers continue to express frustration that conversations about land policy seem endless, while farmland continues to disappear.
