The Prince Edward Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission seeks Public
Input in an Investigation Under the Lands Protection Act
Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, December 15, 2025 – The Prince Edward Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission is conducting an investigation under the Lands Protection Act regarding the land holdings and any related interests in land held by Great Wisdom Buddhist Institute Inc. and Great Enlightenment Buddhist Institute Society. As part of this process, the Commission, through its Special Counsel on this matter, is
inviting members of the public to share any relevant and verifiable information that may assist the Commission in conducting the investigation. The Commission requests that submissions be limited to first-hand knowledge or
supported by documentation. This may include records, agreements, correspondence, or other materials relating to the ownership, control, use, or beneficial interest in land.
